Portugal, this year's guest of honor, is waiting for you at its stand at #Bookfest2025, from Wednesday (May 28) to Sunday (June 1), inclusive, to fill in your personal literary data in the “Reader's Passport”, your chance to win a trip to Portugal.

You could reach:

• Lisbon and its mysteries
• Madeira and its breathtaking landscapes
• Porto and its bridges full of history
• Coimbra and its libraries where time stands still

Or, of course, any other destination in Portugal.

Your guide can be a book by Fernando Pessoa, José Saramago, António Lobo Antunes, José Luís Peixoto or Gonçalo M. Tavares. Because, most of the time, books become compasses to fascinating worlds!

At the end of this year's Bookfest edition, the organizers of the Portugal program as the guest of honor at Bookfest 2025 will draw the name of a winner who will receive a voucher worth 1000 euros from the FIDES Agency. The winner can use them to travel anywhere in Portugal.

The draw will take place live at “Jurnal cultural”, between June 2-6, and will be announced on the organizers' social media channels.

Come to Bookfest, pick up your passport and set off on your journey.
